Public Pools & Spas
Public pools are regulated under the Ontario Public Pool Regulation 565/18 to ensure proper treatment of water to reduce the transmission of disease, and to prevent injury. They are divided into two categories Class A and Class B. Class A pools typically have lifeguards on duty, whereas Class B pools are typically unsupervised. We encourage all parents to supervise their children around any pool. Our local pools are inspected regularly during the pools operational season, for more information about a specific inspection please visit INSIGHT.
