Leeds, Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit Celebrates during RNAO’s Fall Tour Highlights

Join the Leeds, Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit in partnership with RNAO’s Lanark-Leeds-Grenville Chapter for two exciting events to connect with nursing and health colleagues during the RNAO Fall Tour. The theme is ‘Building a vibrant nursing profession that benefits all Ontarians.

Wednesday, October 25 from 4:00pm–6:30pm we will be joined by RNAO CEO Dr. Doris Grinspun. She will speak about RNAO’s Best Practice Spotlight Organization (BPSO) and Best Practice Guidelines programs as well as today’s current nursing, health and health care issues. The Health Unit will also share, showcase and celebrate their BPSO journey. This event will be held at the Leeds, Grenville & Lanark District Health Unit located at 458 Laurier Blvd. in Brockville, Ont. Light refreshments will be provided. Thursday, October 26 join us for Breakfast with Doris from 8:30am–10:30am at the Smiths Falls Curling and Squash Club 13 Old Sly’s Road in Smiths Falls, Ontario. Seating is limited to 70 persons; sign up here to attend. Recruitment and retention of nurses in Ontario, changes in Long-Term Care legislation, climate change, public health unit amalgamation, anything and everything is on the discussion table. Bring your questions directly to RNAO CEO @Dorisgrinspun. The chapter will be accepting cash donations to local foodbanks in lieu of registration fee.
