Food Handler Exam Only

If you have completed a home study version of the food handler certification course and are ready to book your exam please register for your preferred date below or by calling the Health Unit at 1-800-660-5853. Once you start the exam you will have one hour to complete it and will require 70% to achieve your certificate. Your certificate will be mailed to you within 15 days.

In order to register for the exam ensure that you have:

• Completed the home study review guide and then submit it to the health unit via email or if you have a printed copy please bring it on exam day.
• If you have shared your home study manual a separate study review guide is required for each person taking the exam.
• Photo identification is required.

A fee of $25.00 is required prior to taking the exam.
