Fall 2025 Influenza Vaccine Update
Before placing your Influenza vaccine order, please review the following information
Vaccine orders are now on a weekly basis. Please limit your order quantities and order more frequently.
- Sufficient vaccine fridge space will be a challenge for both the Health Unit and Health Care facilities in the fall of 2025
- The Health Unit will be receiving their vaccine allotments in stages to accommodate all of the seasonal vaccines in our vaccine fridges.

- Influenza Vaccines are expected to be available for HIGH RISK recipients in early October
All provincially funded doses of Influenza vaccine are trivalent (TIV) for 2025-26.
- The Health Unit has reviewed Influenza vaccine ordering and wastage amounts for the past respiratory season.
- The Health Unit reserves the right to limit how much vaccine we provide to ensure that there is enough high dose vaccine available for all High Risk recipients in all practice settings.
- You must provide details of a planned clinic when placing larger orders.
- Prefilled syringes of influenza vaccine will be available in limited quantities for high dose and regular dose vaccines.
