Respiratory Virus Surveillance Report
The Leeds, Grenville & Lanark District Health Unit Respiratory Virus Surveillance Dashboard is produced weekly, and posted on our website on Tuesdays by noon (with the exception of statutory holidays). The report shares the most recent week’s local COVID-19 and influenza activity throughout the respiratory season (October 1 to September 30 yearly) and provides an overview of circulating respiratory viruses in our region. The report is based on data collected for the previous week (Sunday to Saturday inclusive). Data collection and analysis is a dynamic process where week-over-week counts may vary due to subsequent lab confirmation, data cleaning or case false positives. Please interpret trends with caution. Tuesday, May 28, 2024 will be the last day that this report will be issued until the Fall of 2024. The Ontario Ministry of Health will be changing some data systems over the summer months which will make access to most respiratory disease databases unavailable during this time. Please subscribe to our webpage to be notified when the report returns this Fall.
