Fall 2025 COVID-19 Vaccine Update

Before placing your COVID-19 vaccine order, please review the following information.

Vaccine orders are now on a weekly basis. Please limit your order quantities and order more frequently.

Sufficient vaccine fridge space will be a challenge for both the Health Unit and Health Care facilities in the fall of 2025
COVID-19 Vaccines are expected to be available for HIGH RISK recipients in early October

There is a change to COVID-19 vaccine products for the fall 2025 season

Multi dose vials of previously frozen vaccine will be available for adults for both Corminarty (Pfizer) 6 dose vials and Spikevax (Moderna) 5 dose vials.
Prefilled syringes of adult doses of Corminarty (Pfizer) and Spikevax (Moderna) will be available in limited amounts.
- These will not have been previously frozen, so there will not be a sticker indicating out of freezer use deadline, only an expiration date.
- We are unsure of the shelf life of these products at this time.
Corminarty (Pfizer) is providing a pediatric vaccine in a single dose vial for 5 -11 year olds. No Corminarty (Pfizer) vaccine available for under 5 years of age
Spikevax (Moderna) continues to provide vaccine dosing for 6 months – 11 years of age, which is half of the adult dose, in multi-dose vials.

Documentation of administered doses is still a legal requirement under the COVID-19 Vaccination Reporting Act, 2021
