Vendors of tobacco products or electronic cigarettes and their components need to educate themselves on the rules and regulations in the Smoke-Free Ontario Act, 2017. To that end, the Ministry of Health has created a slide deck for vendors. Vendors are required to keep themselves and their staff informed.

Smoke-Free Ontario Act, 2017 Changes
Under the Smoke-Free Ontario Act, 2017 there is now a requirement for Specialty Vape Stores and Tobacconist to register with the Board of Health to be exempt of certain display and promotions restrictions. Applications for Specialty Vape Stores and Tobacconist must be returned completed to any office of the Leeds, Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit.
