Climate Change Data
Climate change data is important to track so we can see what changes are happening around us. This data can inform the actions we take to mitigate and adapt to the impacts of climate change. The following websites have data you can explore to see how the climate is changing in Ontario and Canada.
- Climate Atlas of Canada
- The Climate Atlas allows you to explore many topics including data related to climate change. The Climate Atlas Map shows projections for climate change-related impacts for hot weather, cold weather, temperature, precipitation (e.g., rain, sleet, snow), and agriculture for many communities, including three in our region (Brockville, Smiths Falls, Prescott).
- Climatedata.ca enables Canadians to access, visualize, and analyze climate data, and provides related information and tools to support adaptation planning and decision-making.
- Climatedata.ca is a collaboration between Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC), the Computer Research Institute of Montréal (CRIM), CLIMAtlantic, Ouranos, the Pacific Climate Impacts Consortium (PCIC), the Prairie Climate Centre (PCC), and HabitatSeven.
