Leeds, Grenville and Lanark Area Only

If you reside within our area, you can have a nurse contact you to fill out a Healthy Babies, Healthy Children screen. Potential supports are identified based on your responses in completing the Provincial HBHC Prenatal Screen. The same 26 questions are asked of everyone and the same questionnaire, with an additional nine questions presented to you in hospital after your baby is born. The prenatal screen takes about five minutes. All of the information collected is only shared with the Healthy Babies, Healthy Children Program and is kept confidential in accordance with the Personal Health Information Privacy and Protection Act. Consent can be withdrawn at any time by contacting our Health Unit at 613-345-5685 or 1-800-660-6853.
