Your access code can be shared with family members and other support people. Share your code with grandparents, siblings, and close friends so everyone can take part.

Leeds, Grenville and Lanark Area Only

If you reside within our area, you can have a nurse contact you to fill out a Healthy Babies, Healthy Children screen. Potential supports are identified based on your responses in completing the Provincial HBHC Prenatal Screen. The same 26 questions are asked of everyone and the same questionnaire, with an additional nine questions, will be presented to you in hospital after your baby is born. The prenatal screen takes about five minutes. All of the information collected is only shared with the Healthy Babies, Healthy Children Program and is kept confidential in accordance with the Personal Health Information Privacy and Protection Act. Consent can be withdrawn at any time by contacting our Health Unit at 613-345-5685 or 1-800-660-6853 extension 2467.

Public Health Nurse Support

Our online prenatal series is available to all individuals regardless of the area you live. However, being contacted by a Public Health Nurse is only available to those living within Leeds, Grenville and Lanark. If you are unsure of the health region you live in, this Public Health Locator can help. If you live outside of the Leeds, Grenville and Lanark region, please contact your assigned Health Unit for information on their programs and services to support you with a healthy pregnancy.
